Who operates Go Precheck

Grade Optic builds and operates Go Precheck. Go Precheck is an independent trading-card product that provides a visual precheck only. It is not a final grade, does not authenticate cards, and is not affiliated with PSA, BGS, CGC, or SGC. Market context is informational only and is not a guaranteed value.

Evidence vs. display images

Your original uploaded photos are the only evidence source we use to identify and precheck a card. Any generated or display image is presentation-only cosmetic cover art. It is never used as evidence, and never for grading, OCR, autograph, serial, or centering.

What data we handle

Uploaded original card photos: the evidence source used to identify and precheck your cards.
Generated display images: cosmetic cover art; display-only, never used as evidence.
Scan results and AI-extracted card identity derived from your photos.
Condition / precheck observations.
Your card decisions: Keep or Sell, plus separate Favorite, archive-storage, and clear-decision controls.
Market data snapshots: third-party market context retrieved for your cards.
Listing drafts you create.
Account / session data needed to run the service.

Server-side processing

To generate a precheck, your card images are sent to our server and, when enabled, to our AI analysis provider. This provider processing happens server-side; provider API keys are server-only and never shipped to the client.

Card images are handled differently from market data: we do not send your original photos to pricing/market-data providers. Only extracted identity text may be sent to them, never the images.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not make official-grade, authentication, guaranteed-value, or investment claims.

How to control your data

Today, Go Precheck runs against browser session state on your device. That browser-held state persists until you clear it in the app or through browser storage controls. You can export your card list and original photos, and clear your local session to remove that data from the app. Full account-based deletion and export land when account sync launches.
