THE FOUNDING
Started in 2025, shaped by decisions made in the field.
Randal Ellison founded Grade Optic in 2025. His background spans solar sales and extensive SaaS product development in the solar field, two kinds of work that share one hard moment: a person standing in front of complex visual information, needing to make a confident decision right then. Grade Optic exists to make that moment clear, starting with collectors and the cards in their hands.
Grade Optic operates online and is registered in Utah, United States.
OUR OPERATING RULE
The software should never claim more than the image supports.
That rule shapes capture, evidence, language, and the moment a product asks for a better view. It also shapes how Grade Optic talks about itself: company facts appear only after they are ready to be published and checked.
